I have a spare truck that I’m planning to put a driver in. Anyone in North Iowa looking for a truck to pull their trailer? Has a two line wet kit, so there are options. Looking for something local. Thanks

I am in Kansas. I leased on to a local outfit for a year when I first got my CDL again in 2021 into 2022. Then I took a few months off because of family issues. When I came back in December of 2022, I had gotten my own authority and DOT number. I was using the local outfit to rent a trailer and for dispatching. I bought my own trailer in January of 2023, because the money I saved on rental percentage was enough to pay a used trailer off in less than a year. On a side note, I dropped the dispatcher in December of 2023, after I totalled what he took that year in brokerage fees. My advice is....rent a trailer and run the numbers on what it's costing you....then run a projection on what it's going to cost you for the next year. Guestimate the cost of a trailer.....and figure out what makes you the most money that will eventually stay in your pocket.
