Anybody have any experience with field delivering Ag lime? I've got a 40ft. frameless half round with no liner. It is dry quarry Ag lime going to a local guy about 40 mile trip. Curious of other people's experiences, seems to be a lot of differing opinions on lime.

I use a belt, but you should be fine if you load the driest stuff. If it sets overnight, sometimes it draws moisture and doesn't come out as nice.

Have seen it pack and lodge on square bottom end dump. Have seen it fly right out of square bottom end dumps. Trailers had liners in them also.

Just make sure you're facing directly up hill. If you're across the hill, it will roll over. Let the air bags down, and keep a yankum rope with you. |

Buy a belt trailer. You don't have to worry about tipping over or being electrocuted.

Thanks for the replies, I will probably give it a try. It's flat as a pancake here and everything is dry, so I'm not too worried about dumping in the fields. I was more concerned about the product coming out.

We run it in side dumps. The only issue we ever have with it sticking is in the middle of winter it'll freeze and they'll steal tubs. But that's just a layer of it, the load generally falls out |
