Gents, Anyone know what to do with a load of chicken meal that was rejected strictly off the prior load? Prior load was organic soy hulls. Thanks

I would try calling any pet food trader and see if someone sles can take it thats bs with your previous. I had the same thing happen a while back and i ended up disposeing of it myself to keep roleing. Make sure you take pictures of the load to prove there are no visual contaminants to give reason for rejection. befor anything happens because there gonna file a claim with your insurance more then likley. When it happened to me i took pictures of the load in the hopper befor i dumped it. And my insurance denied the claim because i took pictures and the load was not contaminated and no one told me to get a wash so then the broker tried sending me a bill for 15k witch i told them where to shove it because if i need a wash you have to tell me or put it on the load con or its not my problem in my opinion. I wish you the best thats such a shitty situation to be in!

This seems to be a new thing. Meal getting rejected with soy and a wash as a prior. They are alleging it is a allergen. The pet people are going crazy with this. My broker worked hard to resell the load somewhere ese and paid us to take it there. I thought that was really stand up of them, to take responsibility. We need more brokers like Blake at Bear State Transport. |

Jeff, Can you share or IM me who the merchant was on this load? We had same issue awhile back. Glad you got it taken care of without a big haircut. |

A lot of those loads are washout required regardless of prior. If you did not have a washout... |
