I bought long block from Capital Reman Freeman Exchange and I got 1,600 Mi out of it and lost oil pressure and metal in the oil. Cam Journal bearing failure. I spoke with sales prior to buying the engine. Told them my truck was deleted and asked if that would be a problem for warranty. Now they tell me the oil is fine it's normal and I broke it in wrong and I didn't change the filters after 300 miles and it wouldn't be covered under warranty anyway because the truck has been deleted. Anyone else had a bad experience with them, I'd love to hear from you.

Not sure why you would believe any company would warranty a deleted truck but that’s not on them to know. A deleted truck is very much still illegal and you are thinking a company would knowingly help you do something illegal. If it’s a ISX my buddy had the same failure and is trying to sue the dealership but this is after 100k miles and it’s not going easy and his truck was compliant. You’re more than likely just going to have to eat it as your truck is illegal.

Aw darn.. You are right. I should have never expected the sales dude to tell me it was illegal, and there would never be a warranty. Why did you charge me the same price as an engine with warranty??

Why wouldn’t they? It’s obvious you didn’t care and they are in business to make money. Like I said if you didn’t comprehend, it’s not their job to know you’re deleted.

Wouldn't it be great if liberals and the Government took as much interest in ILLEGAL immigrants as they do deleted trucks ? |

Can anyone out there explain how a disabled emissions system caused a cam bearing to fail? It seems like nothing more than Voodoo theory dreamed up by a Witch doctor, does it also cause burned out tail lights or flat tires?

Its is just a way for shady comanies to weasel out of their resposebilities. A good shop will warranty their work regaurdless of engine modifications because they know how to rebuild it to withstand the mods. |

I would not post this on the internet , they are getting very strict with deletes. Some people have recently landed in bars. |
