This guest had no clue about his numbers. He said $100k for annual revenue running a dumptruck and that $80k of that could be expected to be profit... and suggested that 2007 was the best year for trucks! 06-08 are the 3 years to stay the furthest away from with those first generation DPFs. Nice guy that sounds succesful and his organization seems respectable, but that lack of substance and incorrect info on revenue and profit forecasts was tough to listen to. The host pushed back a bit thankfully but its ashame we can't get better content talking about costs per mile/hour, overhead budget, etc.. Real numbers and how to accurately track them are the keys to helping operators be succesful. |
