Dispatch Supervisor

Agri Trans is looking for a self-starter Dispatch Supervisor. This position is responsible for the coordinating, planning and directing of shipments of agriculture based products. Candidate must be able to work with the transportation team to execute to the fullest potential. The position requires professional communication, social skills, and attention to detail.

Job Functions:

· Manage and dispatch assigned drivers in compliance with DOT and company guidelines

· Responsible for planning and executing loads of current customer base by making sales calls in addition to finding new business

· Assist in the recruitment and training of new drivers

· Work directly with transportation team, senior management and other associates

· Other tasks assigned by management

Job Requirements:

· Experience within the transportation industry

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong work ethic and decision making skills

· Able to multitask in fast paced environment

· Able to adapt quickly to changing situations
